2024-25 FYHA Registration Fee Information

FYHA registration fees will increase this year between 4.25 and 4.97 percent, depending on the level, to cover the operational costs associated with running the overall program.

The Freeze are subject to many CPI-adjusted services and products, the largest of which is rising ice rental rates from area facilities.

For 2024-25 FYHA will offer two pricing options:

  1. One-time payment, in full, by check to be mailed to FYHA.
  2. Installment option with four equal payments (deposit at time of registration and three additional payments Oct. 1, Nov. 1 and Dec. 1).  The installment option will include transaction fees paid directly to SportsEngine.

The multi-player discount will apply to the third travel player in your household, however, you must register all your players at the same time for the discount to apply.  The multi-player discount does not take into account Termite or Mite/8U players.

The Early Bird discount remains at $200 per player, for travel teams only, if registered by August 15, 2024.
Tournament fees are included in the registration fee.  This eliminates the need for Team Managers to collect gate additional fees for each tournament.  The NDAHA state tournaments may carry additional gate fees.

For your Pay Offline total you can use the table below to match with your registration selections. Any questions before sending check please click on the Registration Questions link below.

Player Registration for 2024-25

You must first register with USA Hockey for the 2024-25 season. Be sure to save your confirmation number for FYHA's registration session.

NOTE: All travel team registrations must be completed by 9/15/24 in order to guarantee placement on a team at the PW/12U and Squirt/10U levels.  Games and tournament entries for travel teams are scheduled well in advance of the start of the season.  FYHA needs an accurate count of players at each level in order to plan for the number of teams needed.

FYHA GRADE EXCEPTION

The starting date of each age level is June 1 (ex: June 1, 2009 - May 31, 2011). The is designed to provide players born in June with the ability to play with their classmates. The modification was approved by North Dakota Amatuer Hockey Association at its May 2020 Annual Meeting.

GRADE EXCEPTION PETITION
If a player’s birthday falls after June 1 and:
  • They will turn 9 and be enrolled in 4th grade for the coming school year (Mite/8U to Squirt/10U)
  • They will turn 11 and be enrolled in 6th grade for the coming school year (Squirt/10U to PeeWee/12U)
  • They will turn 13 and be enrolled in 8th grade for the coming school year (PeeWee/12U to Bantam/14U/15U)
A player must submit a grade exception petition during this registration process. The granting of the petition is only a formality assuming the above age and grade parameters are met.

During the registration process, please enter your player's DOB to match the age range for which you are applying (e.g. if a Pee Wee player is going to play Bantams via the Grade Exception policy, enter a DOB that falls within the Bantam DOB parameters.  All DOB parameters are listed on the Overview pages).  This will alleviate a confusing payment process.

Once submitted a player must remain at that level of play for the entire year.  A grade exception petition MUST be submitted each year a player is wishing to move up a level of play based on the criteria above.

THE GRADE EXCEPTION PETITION IS THE ONLY METHOD FOR A FREEZE PLAYER TO MOVE UP A LEVEL.  SHOULD YOU REGISTER YOUR PLAYER WITH A FALSE DATE OF BIRTH, IN AN ATTEMPT TO HAVE YOUR PLAYER PLAY "UP" WITHOUT THIS FORM, HE/SHE MAY BE DISALLOWED FROM PARTICIPATING THIS SEASON.

Please print, fill out form, scan and save to your computer.  Then upload on the "Required Forms" page of the 2024-25 registration session.
