AGE ELIGIBILITY
For players born between June 1, 2005 and May 31, 2009 and in high school.

SEASON SCHEDULE

Fall Camp starts November 11 and will likely  consist of four weeks/two sessions per week.

The Freeze may have tryouts at this level beginning after high school tryouts take place.  In-season programming begins early December (specific date TBD).  Junior Gold teams practice twice per week.

Junior Gold teams will play 30-35 games which includes tournaments.  We do not have a specific number of tournaments for this level but focus on the overall game count to provide competitive schedules.

It is important to remember that Ice hockey is a team sport and the team-building process is the primary concern in the preseason.  At the 15U, Bantam and Junior Gold levels, which are all the oldest levels we offer, the team-building process still exists.  The Freeze are putting together teams versus providing a spot for each player regardless of the effect.  For example, If there are 22 players at the Junior Gold or 15U level, it does not mean we carry two teams of 11.  Especially if 16 of those skaters can play at the A level.  Likewise, if 16 of those skaters are at the B level, we build a B team.  We will not allow players to play at levels far above or below their ability, which results in poor experiences for the players, team and opponents.

FEES
All Junior Gold fees are non-refundable.  For those who are considering high school roster spots, please use the FYHA payment dates when deciding on FYHA registration.

Two Options For Paying Registration Fee:

1. $900 to be paid by check.
2. $900 to be paid online in four equal payments (at time of registration and three additional installments to be automatically debited/charged Oct. 15, Nov. 15 and Dec. 15) with SportsEngine transaction fees paid by customer (3 percent plus $1 per transaction).

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• No fundraising/raffle is required.
• Tournament work required (13-15 DIBS Shifts per Player).
• Registration fees are inexpensive for Jr Gold, compared to other travel levels, in exchange for asking the Players/Parents to work 13-15 shifts at our tournaments. Tournaments are subsidizing your fees. Players that do not work their assigned shifts will be charged $75 per shift and not allowed to play until payment is made. 
• Can do DIBS buyout for $1100.00.

USA Hockey Fees -- Paid Directly To USAH & NDAHA

• $15 for birth years 2018 and younger
• $50 for birth years 2016-17
• $61 for birth years 2012-15
• $70 for birth years 2006-11
• NDAHA:  $15
• Safesport certification is mandatory for all players 17 and older.
