SELECTIONS
Squirt International is a selection based tournament, meaning no team is guaranteed entry upon registration. On August 27th, any unpaid team will be removed from consideration of selections. Then on August 30th, teams will be notified about their entry status.
SCHEELS SQUIRT OLYMPICS/OPENING CEREMONY
FYHA will be hosting the SCHEELS Squirt Olympics/Opening at SCHEELS Arena for the C, B, B1, and A divisions.
HOTEL INFORMATION
The Fargo Youth Hockey Association has partnered with the F-M Convention and Visitors Bureau to be our housing bureau for our 8 stay-to-play hockey tournaments. Hotel information will be sent out via email September 2-4 and September 9-11 based on when teams registered. Team will receive an email so they know which date they will receive the hotel information prior to the hotel week.
What does Stay-to-Play mean?
We require all teams registered in our hockey tournaments to work with our local housing bureau, the F-M Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) to select their hotel for the tournament. Those teams who do not abide by this will not be allowed to play. The FYHA Tournament Committee will be auditing hotel rooming lists for violations.
Why we host Stay-to-Play Tournaments:
By partnering with our local F-M CVB we are able to provide the incoming teams a great experience with negotiated group rates. They take the headaches out of group reservations and will work with you to create the best experience possible. The F-M CVB has a well-trained and friendly staff who are ready and eager to assist you and your team with your housing needs.
ATHLETIC TRAINER
There will NOT be an Athletic Trainer on site during the Squirt International hockey tournaments. An emergency medical plan will be available at each rink’s score table. A First Aid Kit and ice packs will be available at the Rink Manager table at each arena.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Once you have received an email confirmation that your team has been officially accepted into the tournament, there is a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you withdraw your team within this 48 hour window, 100% of your registration fee will be refunded. After the 48 hour window, a refund may not be issued. Once the tournament is within 30 days, no refund will be issued for any reason.
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
The Squirt International tournament schedule will be released two weeks prior to each tournament. It will be sent out via email to the contacts we have for each team and it will also be available on the Tournament Schedule tab online.

If your team is flying into Fargo, it is recommended you look for a flight after 6pm Sunday night or Monday in order to avoid potentially missing a later morning/early afternoon game.

TOURNAMENT MERCHANDISE
FYHA has teamed up with Northwest Designs Ink for our tournament apparel this year. Customized apparel will be available for sale at Cornerstone Bank Arena (formerly Southwest Arena). An online store will be available closer to the event.
