Update December 27

Hi Everyone!  I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and long weekend.  We had a quick trip to Bismarck, one night only.  It was awesome 

 

Couple of updates:

 

  1.  Team Christmas party will be tomorrow, December 28 at Lemke park warming house (1000 32nd Ave S. Fargo) Plan for outdoor hockey, pizza, cupcakes to celebrate Jack's birthday and a few games.  Please bring a white elephant gift (less than $20) to share, trade, barter.  Party will be 6-8 pm.  The warming house automatically locks at 8 pm so if you're running late, I will have kids in my car
  1. Practices this week at the HAT on Thursday, 5:45 with off ice following.  Will finish up at 8 pm.  No practice at the attic this week.
  1.  A few deadlines approaching:  raffle tickets will be collected at the game on Friday.  Please have one check filled out for $400.  All raffle tickets must be filled out completely.
    1. If your player wants a tee shirt from the Moorhead tourney, let me know by Friday and I will place order.  Tee shirts are $20 and a sample is pictured on the team website.
    2. If you'd like to order a tee shirt for Stick it to cancer, the last day to order is January 2nd.  Remember you get in a game for free with the shirt.
  2. Game this Friday at HAT against GF.  7:30.  Box workers will be Metcalf, Morris and Ruhland
  1.  Megan and I are putting together a basket for stick it to cancer.  Funds will come from parent donations at the beginning of the season.

Good evening everyone! Thanksfor such a fun weekend. I really appreciate having terrific parents and good kids on this team. I hope everyone at home was able to watch on livebarn. Our boys were impressive and played really good hockey. They were fun to watch!

 

  1.  Practices this week will be Tuesday at HAT and dryland is before at 5:45. Wednesday at the attic. Thursday at HAT with dryland before at 6:15.
  1.  Games this weekend will be away games at East GF and Grand Forks on Saturday. We will have a team meal between games that day. Sunday game will be away at Moorhead.
  1.  Looking ahead: raffle tickets are due to Megan by December 28thor earlier. Please make sure they are completely filled out and submit one check. 
  1.  One more looking ahead: our next tourney is in Moorhead. I've attached a picture of their tournament tee shirts. They cost $20 and orders are due January 1. Please let me know if you'd like a tee shirt so I can submit the order and pay for them. Payments are due by January 1.
  1.  One more upcoming event is a team Christmas party. Megan and I will host at the Clara Barton warming house on December 19, 6-8 pm. We will have food, games and the boys can play pond hockey. Please send a white elephant gift to exchange (less than $20). Looking forward to celebrating with this group!
